Accessibility
LinkShare aims to conform to WCAG 2.2 level AA. This page says what has been checked so far, what has not, and how to report a problem.
Our target
The target is WCAG 2.2 level AA for this website and for the LinkShare box. A target is not a claim of conformance.
What has been verified
- The LinkShare box was checked with the axe automated engine in both light and dark colour schemes with no violations reported.
- Keyboard order and visible focus on the box were checked in a desktop browser.
- The box uses semantic list and landmark markup, system fonts, and no popups, carousels or timers that move content while someone is reading.
Automated checks find only a share of accessibility problems. These checks were not a substitute for testing with assistive technology, and none was done.
What has not been verified
- This website has not had an accessibility audit. It was built with accessible markup, but no conformance claim is made for it.
- No screen reader, voice control or switch device testing has been done on the site or the box.
- The box has not been tested inside real member websites, whose own styles and scripts can affect it.
Known limitations
- Links in the box open the other business's website, which LinkShare does not control and cannot assess for accessibility.
- The interactive demo re-renders results when a choice changes. It announces a summary politely, but that behaviour has not been tested with assistive technology.
- The box follows the visitor's light or dark preference and does not offer its own contrast switch.
Reporting a problem
Contact details for accessibility feedback will be published before members are admitted. Until then there is no reporting address on this page, and none should be assumed.
When a channel exists, a report should say which page or box was affected, what you were trying to do, and the browser and assistive technology you used.
