Installation guides

Adding the box takes ten steps from sign-in to activation. Platform guides cover the part where you place one snippet on your site. LinkShare is in development and is not yet accepting members, so these guides describe the planned flow.

The ten steps

  1. Continue with NOSA

    Sign in with your NOSA account and review whether you are eligible.

  2. Confirm your business and every selling category

    Check the public business details and list every category you sell in. An example shows what the protection will exclude for you.

  3. Add your website and your destination

    Add the website that will display the box and the approved destination that should receive visitors. They can be different.

  4. Choose your platform

    See an honest result for your platform: Planned / unverified, Destination-only, or another published label.

  5. Verify that you control the site

    Use the easiest ownership method on offer. Details are prefilled from NOSA, and you confirm them.

  6. Choose appearance, slots, blocks and placement

    Pick a theme, the number of slots, any categories or businesses to exclude, and where the box appears. The default is the footer, and cart, checkout, account and sensitive pages stay excluded.

  7. Preview the eligible businesses

    See which businesses would appear, with the reason each was allowed or excluded. When few qualify, you see a waiting state instead of a padded list.

  8. Copy the snippet and follow your platform guide

    Copy the one installation block, follow the guide for your platform, then save and publish in that platform.

  9. Run Check installation

    The check separates five things: code found, visible render confirmed, origin approved, eligibility passed, and telemetry observed. A fetch or a screenshot is never treated as proof of ownership.

  10. Activate once every check passes

    Then you can see how to pause, remove the code, switch themes, report a competing business, and get help.

Choose your platform

Every platform guide is documented but not yet tested by NOSA. Etsy and other marketplaces have no install guide because they cannot host the box.
