Destination-only

Receives referrals. Etsy offers no supported way to add a custom script to a shop.

What is documented

Etsy is destination-only. Enroll the Etsy shop as a destination so other members can send visitors to it. There is no custom script path on a shop, and LinkShare does not offer an Etsy install.

What has not been tested

NOSA has not yet installed LinkShare on a test Etsy shop site. This page is built from the platform's own documentation and NOSA research checked October 16, 2026. Treat each step as documented, not confirmed.

Before you start

  • An Etsy shop you own.
  • Evidence that you own the shop, reviewed manually. Owning a custom domain that redirects to Etsy does not prove shop ownership.

Caveats

  • Etsy documents controlled shop fields, not arbitrary script or embed access. No custom script footer path was found.
  • Etsy Pattern is unconfirmed for hosting and stays destination-only until a documented embed capability is verified.
  • LinkShare does not offer automatic Etsy integration, and it will not suggest injecting scripts into Etsy or working around its protections.
  • Any static link placed in a marketplace-controlled field would need its own review against that platform policy first.

If you also own a website

If you also own a separate website on WordPress, Shopify, another host or custom HTML, you can display the box there while visitors are sent to your Etsy shop. Use the guide for that website platform.

Removal

  • Remove the Etsy shop destination from your LinkShare enrollment at any time.

There is no install guide for Etsy because there is nothing to install on an Etsy shop.
