What is documented
Paste the snippet into the shared footer of a site you own, with the script before the closing body tag. Framework wrappers for Astro, Next.js and similar are a later phase.
What has not been tested
NOSA has not yet installed LinkShare on a test Custom HTML site site. This page is built from the platform's own documentation and NOSA research checked October 16, 2026. Treat each step as documented, not confirmed.
Before you start
- A website you own and can edit, with no policy that blocks external scripts.
- Your installation snippet from the LinkShare dashboard, available after ownership verification.
Caveats
- Sites with client-side navigation may not reload the footer between pages. Check the box after moving between pages, not only on first load.
- Duplicate mounts: a layout and a page that both include the snippet produce two boxes.
- A strict Content Security Policy blocks the script until the exact origin is added. See the CSP guidance on the install page.
- Route exclusions are your responsibility on a custom site.
Removal
- Delete the snippet from the footer template or layout and deploy.
- Pausing the installation in the LinkShare dashboard hides the box without redeploying.
