Squarespace
Planned / unverified
Documented install path; not yet tested by NOSA. Code block plus footer code injection on eligible plans.
What is documented
A Code Block holds the mount element where the box should appear, and footer Code Injection holds the loader script, on a plan that allows code injection.
What has not been tested
NOSA has not yet installed LinkShare on a test Squarespace site. This page is built from the platform's own documentation and NOSA research checked October 16, 2026. Treat each step as documented, not confirmed.
Before you start
- A Squarespace site you own, on a plan that allows code blocks and code injection. Confirm the current plan rules with Squarespace.
- Your installation snippet from the LinkShare dashboard, available after ownership verification.
Caveats
- Footer injection lands before the closing body tag. It does not place anything inside a visual footer column; the Code Block decides where the box appears.
- The mount element has to be on each page where you want the box. Footer injection alone adds the loader but no box.
- Plan and editor support changes. Recheck before relying on this path.
Removal
- Delete the Code Block from the page.
- Remove the script tag from footer code injection.
- Pausing the installation in the LinkShare dashboard hides the box without editing the site.
